A fabulous antique Victorian 18ct Yellow Gold Suffragette ring claw set with two 0.20ct Peridots, six Diamonds and a central 0.45ct Amethyst. Suffragette jewellery was worn to show ones allegiance to the womens Suffragette movement. It popularly consisted of Violet, Green and White colours which were chosen to emphasize femininity and put down masculine womens rights stereotypes. Green was for Give, white for Women and violet for Votes! A stylish Suffragette piece and very eye-catching.
