A beautiful Antique Edwardian Suffragette pendant with a fabulous heart shaped design decorated with foliate motifs and Pearls. A 0.45ct Amethyst sits at its heart with a lovely 0.50ct Peridot dropper below.
Suffragette jewellery was worn to show ones allegiance to the womens Suffragette movement in the early 20th century and popularly consisted of Violet, Green and White stones which carried the message: Green for Give, white for Women and violet for Votes!
The pendant is all 9ct Yellow Gold and displays the gorgeous workmanship of the time. It would look stunning on a Gold chain.
