Description
A beautiful antique Edwardian curb bracelet consisting of 9ct gold curb links with every second link engraved with ornate patterning. Its held by a safety chain and heart padlock clasp chased with intricate, foliate motifs.
Heart padlocks were often gifted to a loved one during a long period of separation. It was a symbol of the couples strong love and commitment to one another, reminding the recipient that they may be gone, but their heart will always be with them.
Its been loved and cherished across theyears and is complete with the makers mark and Birmingham hallmarks on the back of the heart, dating to 1902.
