Description

A spectacular antique Edwardian cluster ring exhibiting a spellbinding natural cabochon opal, framed by sixteen sparkling brilliant cut diamonds, totalling approx. 1.6ct. The opal displays a kaleidoscope of vibrant colours and weighs an impressive 10 carats (approx.)

Opals have been valued throughout history as a magical, protective talisman of great power and its easy to see why. Ethereal greens, pinks and blues flow and dance across the surface of the stone, evoking the beauty of planet earth or the aurora borealis and are illuminated by a burning orange sunset from behind.

The stones are set in a large platinum face with split shoulders, leading into an 18ct yellow gold band at the back. Its a magnificent statement piece, boasting an exceptional opal that is truly mesmerising to behold.

We recommend you insure for 6,500. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
