Description

A fabulous antique Edwardian gypsy ring from the early 1900s set with three natural cabochon opals (approx. 0.65ct) displaying a striking medley of vibrant colours alongside four twinkling old mine cut diamonds (approx. 0.08ct).

Opal is the birthstone of October. Their magic has been revered throughout history, desired for their enchanting rainbow of colours that flow and dance across the surface of the stone, evoking the beauty of planet earth or the aurora borealis, with a burning orange sunset glowing behind.

The piece is crafted in 18ct gold and displays the makers mark A.W. Crosbee & Co and Chester hallmarks within the band, dating the piece to 1910. Its a wonderful statement piece with a gorgeous collection of natural gems.
