Description
This fabulous Antique Edwardian Suffragette bracelet is set in 15ct Yellow Gold and made Circa 1910. Each engraved link is adorned with a beautiful Peridot or Amethyst which follow all the way around the bracelet.
Suffragettes liked to be depicted as feminine, their jewellery was chosen to counter the stereotypes put forward by opponents that they were mannish or shrieking! Green is for give, white is for women and violet is for votes.
The bracelet is all original displaying beautiful workmanship of its time. It looks wonderful around the wrist and held securely by a box clasp and safety chain.
Weighs 7.1 grams.
Will fit a 6.5 – 7 inch wrist.
Measures 8 inches x 10mm width.
