Description
This grand pair of antique Georgian bracelets can be joined together to create a magnificent collar. Theyre both fashioned in golden pinchbeck with ornate cannetille metalwork embossed across each panel with a deep purple oval cut amethyst in the centre.
Amethyst is the birthstone of February and is considered a stone of protection, clarity and tranquillity. Its deep violet colouring has been highly esteemed throughout history, adorning regal jewellery all around the world, from ancient Egypt to the British crown jewels.
Each bracelet is in excellent condition and articulated with a box clasp at the side that join together securely. Its a rare and versatile setthat looks wonderful worn as a collar or as two matching bracelets.
