Garnet is the birthstone of January. It derives its name from the Latin word for seed due to the stones striking similarities to a pomegranate seed. Its desired for its blazing red flame that glows beneath its dark surface, a symbol of passion and enduring love.
Its a striking piece and the stones are set in a closed-back 15ct gold gallery that spreads them out beautifully over the finger.
