A grand antique Ring from the Georgian era adorned with a foil backed Rock Crystal which is a clear colourless form of Quartz that is highly durable and once believed by ancients to be a form of solidified ice that could never be thawed.
The stone is set in a robust 18ct Yellow Gold closed backed gallery leading to a thick shank that has turned a lovely rosy hue with age. It would suit either sex and is steeped in history from the era.
