A striking Antique late Victorian ring adorned with a gorgeous Mexican Fire Opal weighing approx. 4.5ct claw set in a 9ct Yellow Gold mount.
Mexican Fire Opals are mined in Mexico and named after their fiery orange/ red colouring which is unique from other types of Opal.
The ring is in excellent condition and the Opal burns with an inner flame when it catches the light.
