A delightful antique Victorian heart Locket C. 1900, engraved with beautiful detail with lovely swallows on the back and front.
Swallows are known to mate for life and therefore symbolize love and faithfulness. The image of a swallow was popular during the Victorian era and was often gifted as a romantic token.
The piece is stamped 9ct Gold back and front on the reverse and displays beautiful artistry throughout.
