Description
A fabulous antique Victorian pendant/ brooch made in the Art Nouveau style with elegant curves and foliate motifs creating a beautiful, open-work 18ct gold frame. Its adorned with an amethyst dropper and larger amethyst centre, with branches of bright white pearls growing out from each side and around the frame.
Amethyst is considered a stone of protection, clarity and tranquillity and has been highly esteemed throughout the ages for its stunning beauty and deep violet colouring which has adorned regal jewellery all around the world, from ancient Egypt to the British crown jewels.
Its a stunning design, in excellent condition and would look perfect on the end of a gold chain or pinned to a lapel.
