These fabulous antique Victorian Blue and White Relief Glass Cherub earrings are Circa 1900.
The beautifully detailed Cherubs are beautifully carved in White Relief Glass and displayed upon sky blue Relief Glass back drops.
The winged Cherub or Putto has been depicted in western art throughout history and has become an iconic religious image present in many paintings, sculptures and jewellery pieces.
The earrings are set in 18ct Gold Gilt on Silver and fitted with long shepherd hook wires.
Purchased in London and steeped in English history. A lovely pair of eye catching earrings that look stunning when worn.
Weigh 8.6 grams together.
Measure 18mm across x 22mm down x 8mm depth.
Both in Excellent condition.
