This superb Victorian Bohemian Garnet locket is Circa 1880.

The locket is adorned with a cluster of deep red Bohemian Garnets set in a beautifully designed Garnet Gold gallery.

Set in 18ct gilded on Garnet Gold.

Bohemian Garnets are a small deep red gemstone that became fashionable in the late 19th century. Garnets are said to be a stone of purity, truth and a symbol of love and compassion.

The piece is complete with a glass window locket on the reverse.

The fabulous bale is also decorated in Bohemian Garnets which shows fabulous craftsmanship.
