This genuine antique Cannetille Gold ball necklace is from the Victorian era, Circa 1860.
The heavy rope twist chain is beautifully made and features three large Cannetille balls across the piece.
Cannetille is an intricate three dimensional filigree workmanship that was popular in the 1820s and 1830s and was inspired by French embroidery.
The necklace is Gilded in 18ct Yellow Gold and fitted with a secure hinged clasp.
This is a good quality solid necklace that looks lovely hanging around the neck!
