Description
A sweet antique Victorian curb bracelet from the late 19th Century consisting of chunky yellow gold curb links, each stamped 9ct with every second link engraved with foliate patterning. Its held by a safety chain and heart padlock clasp chased with further scrolling motifs across the front with a previous owners monogram on the back.
Heart padlocks were often gifted to a loved one during a long period of separation. It was a symbol of the couples strong love and commitment to one another, reminding the recipient that they may be gone, but their heart will always be with them.
Its a beautiful piece that has been loved and cherished over theyears and would make a wonderful gift for a loved one.
