A sweet antique Victorian love knot ring from the late 19th Century consisting of two solid 18ct gold bands that tie neatly into a love knot at the front, encompassing a twinkling old mine cut diamond in the centre (approx. 0.10ct).
A love knot has long been a symbol of love, loyalty and friendship as the unbroken knot represents an eternal bond that is unbreakable and forever entwined. They were popularly exchanged between lovers and those whod officially tied the knot.
Its developed a pleasing patina and yellow gold bloom with age and would make the perfect gift for the one you cherish most.
