Description
An exquisite Antique Victorian family locket modelled in 9ct Yellow Gold featuring detailed engraved patterning on the front and back with two central shields in which initials can be added.
A belt and buckle can be seen encircling the central shields which were popular motifs in the Victorian era as their infinite loop and secure buckle symbolised eternal love and a strong unbreakable bond.
The locket opens up on both sides and is complete with four compartments to add photographs though only two currently have rims and windows which are underlaid with finely woven hair.
It is a lovely antique find and would make a wonderful gift for a loved one.
