Description
These fabulous Antique Victorian earrings have been modelled in 18ct Yellow Gold and represent the Etruscan Revival style. They each feature an upper gold sphere which leads down to a fabulous textured Lovers Knot. Below this hangs a lovely embossed dropper.
Etruscan revival pieces were crafted in the mid 1800s when ancient Etruscan jewellery was unearthed in tombs outside of Rome beginning a fascination with the style and giving birth to these beautiful pieces which were fashioned using the same ancient techniques.
A wonderful pair of earrings and a stunning example of the style of the era.
