Description
An exquisite pair of antique Victorian drop earrings from the mid19thCentury made in the Etruscan style withhigh-relief floral metalwork, gold beadingand alarge oval dropper hanging from the bottom.
Etruscan revival pieces were crafted in the mid 1800s when ancient Etruscan jewellery was unearthed in tombs outside of Rome beginning a fascination with the style and giving birth to these beautiful pieces which were crafted in the same elaborate fashion.
The earrings are all 15ct gold and fitted with long hook wires at the top. Theyre very striking and look wonderful dangling from each ear.
