A lovely set of Antique Victorian faith, hope and charity charms fashioned in 9ct Gold with detailed foliate engraving and Birmingham hallmarks.
The Cross represents Faith and a devotion to God, the Heart represents Charity and to be open and caring to others and the Anchor represents Hopeas the dropping of an anchor represented the safe end of a long sea voyage.These symbols have been used together since the 18thcentury and characterise the important qualities a person should adhere to.
They are very sweet and would look wonderful dangling from a gold chain or bracelet.
