Description
This wonderful Glass globe locket has been beautifully preserved from the late Victorian era (Circa 1900). The piece consists of two large Glass domes which are held in 9ct Yellow Gold frames.
The piece splits in two on a hinge so that a photograph or memento can be stored within. The Glass magnifies the contents considerably creating an almost three-dimensional effect. It is similar to Pools of light jewellery which captures and distorts the light within.
This is an exquisite Antique find though it has developed some wear across the surface of the glass over the years it is in good condition for its age and would look perfect on a Gold chain.
