Description
This fabulous long antique Victorian guard chain is Circa 1880.
Set in 18ct Yellow Gold gilded.
The lovely long chain can be worn twice or more around the neck, or left as a long chain.
During the Victorian days these were known as muff chains.
Muff chains were created to string through a muff of fur which kept a womans hands warm when she was outside, and held it when she was inside.
Steeped in Victorian history, this chain looks wonderful when worn!
