These spectacular antique Victorian Harlequin gemstone flower earrings are Circa 1880.
All set in Sterling Silver.
Adorned with natural gemstones in each petal.
Harlequin jewellery became extremely popular in the Victorian era. Beginning with Harlequin rings which were full of colour just like the kaleidoscopic costumes of the 16th Century European comedy actors known as Harlequins.
Each gemstone is over 1/4 of a ct in size, the stones include Sapphire, Amethyst, Tourmaline
Set with pierced fittings and a screw back butterfly for security.
These earrings are steeped in Victorian history, they look beautiful when worn!
They weigh 3.6 grams
They measure 13mm x 15mm
