This beautiful Victorian Scottish Silver gilded on Gold brooch is adorned with fabulous Agates, Circa 1880.
Scottish jewellery was made popular by Queen Victoria as it became a souvenir of her frequent trips to Scotland and her Scottish Castle Balmoral from the mid 1800s.
Agate is a strong mineral sometimes known as the earth rainbow for its patterned texture that shows varying colours the earth can produce.
Each Agate is unique with beautiful natural colouring and polished to perfection.
The brooch is fitted with a sturdy pin and catch.
The brooch is steeped in history and looks stunning when worn.
