This fabulous antique 18ct Gold Gilt Victorian Micro Mosaic necklace is Circa 1895.
The wonderful necklace is adorned with nine detailed Micro Mosaic droppers depicting beautiful hand crafted floral art work.
Micro Mosaic’s are a special form of Mosaic that use unusually small pieces of glass (tesserae), or in later Italian pieces an enamel-like material, to make small figurative images.
The necklace is fitted with a strong articulated chain with a secure barrel clasp at the end.
All set in 18ct Gold gilt on base Metal and complete with makers initials F.A.P on the reverse.
The necklace looks stunning when worn, a true work of art thats steeped in Victorian history.
Weighs 11.9 grams.
Measures 14 inches in length.
