Description
An exquisite antique mourning locket from the late Victorian era (Circa 1880) chased with stunning, foliate artistry across the front and back, including depictions of forget me nots that are a symbol of love and remembrance.
The inside of the locket is complete with rims, windows, and a lock of blonde hair. It was most likely kept in remembrance of a deceased loved one so that a piece of them was always kept close to the wearer’s heart.
It was clearly very dear to its original owner and has been kept in excellent condition.
