These fabulous antique 18ct Gold Victorian Regard earrings are Circa 1900.
The gemstones in the gallery spell out the word Regard with each first letter – Ruby – Emerald – Garnet – Amethyst – Ruby – Diamond.
The word REGARD forms part of the phrase With my Regards or I highly regard you meaning that your loved one holds you very close to their heart.
The Ruby is considered to be the most powerful gem of the universe, given as a gift, the Ruby is a symbol of friendship, love and loyalty.
The Emerald is the sacred stone of the goddess Venus, It was thought to preserve love and has long been the symbol of hope.
