Description
This beautiful Victorian snake bangle is set in 18ct Gold, gilded on 18ct rolled Gold, Circa 1900.
The snakes head and tail are beautifully engraved.
Serpent jewellery became popular during the early years of Queen Victorias reign coinciding with the full flowering of the Romantic Movement. Serpents represent love, loyalty and friendship, what a lovely combination.
Serpents were given as a token of love and friendship during the Victorian Era.
On the reverse hallmarks can be seen.
This shows all round superb workmanship from its era.
It looks beautiful when worn making a lovely statement, perfect for a snake lover!
It weighs 18.5 grams.
