Description
A sweet antique Victorian brooch from the late 19th Century depicting two large hearts fashioned in 18ct gold, one bordered in bright, white pearls and the other in sky-blue turquoise.
The two contrasting hearts perfectly symbolise the union of two people, bonded by their strong love and commitment to one another. The combination of turquoise and pearl also represent good fortune and loyalty and were a popular combination in the Victorian era with their soft colours evoking the calm and serenity of the sky and ocean.
Its in excellent condition and would make a perfect gift for a loved with a new safety lock catch added to the back to hold it secure.
