Description
A wonderful antique Victorian charm pendant featuring a watch key and two carafe jug fobs each fashioned in 18ct gold and engraved with ornate patterning. The key is set with a small round bloodstone seal on one side and a carnelian on the reverse with an additional carnelian on the bottom of one jug and a clear rock crystal on the other with a violet foil back.
Fobs were a popular accessory in the 18th and 19th Century and were often engraved with a signature, sentimental message, or image on an intaglio seal so that it could be stamped into sealing wax on important documents or even love letters to sweethearts during long periods of separation.
Its a great collectors piece, in excellent condition and would look perfect on the end of a gold chain.
