A stunning Edwardian-inspired sapphire diamond daisy cluster ring, adorned with a deep-blue cushion cut sapphire claw set in the centre, weighing approx. 1.2 carats. The sapphire is haloed by eight brilliant cut diamond petals, with superb VS 1 clarity H/I colour, and two more smaller diamonds on each shoulder (approx. 1.7ct total).
Sapphire is the birthstone of September. The blue variety is considered a stone of truth, wisdom and protection and has long been a favourite of kings and royalty, adored for its royal blue colouring which was considered a reflection of the sky and the heavens, making it divine.
The ring is a union of 18ct white and yellow gold and features a scalloped, milgrain border and pierced sides. It would make a striking sapphire engagement ring, with a fine collection of precious gems on top.
