A stunning pair of Edwardian style drop earrings consisting of diamond encrusted flower tops and leafy droppers leading to a deep blue sapphire bezel set at the bottom haloed by further brilliant cut diamonds.
The sapphires weigh approx. 0.50ct each and are complemented beautifully by the bright white diamonds which have excellent SI 1 clarity H colour and total approx. 1ct.
Sapphire is the birthstone of September. The blue variety is considered a stone of truth, wisdom and protection and has long been a favourite of kings and royalty, adored for its royal blue colouring which was considered a reflection of the sky and the heavens, making it divine.
