This lovely Victorian brooch is set with fabulous Scottish Agate, Circa 1900.
Set in base metal.
The colours in this brooch, brown, grey, black and white, compliment each other superbly.
The Agate has a beautiful finish showing the natural grain from with in.
Scottish jewellery was made popular by Queen Victoria as it became a souvenir of her trips to Scotland. From the mid 1800’s Queen Victoria frequently visited Scotland and her Scottish Castle Balmoral.
