A fabulous, winged insect ring made in the Victorian/ Art Nouveau style with three sky-blue turquoise cabochons making up the body and twinkling zirconia eyes at the top.
Turquoise is desired for its calming blue/ green colouring and was named Fayruz in Turkey which translates to Lucky stone. It has long been believed to bring happiness, clarity and good fortune, making it a popular gift exchanged between friends and loved ones.
The piece is all silver, gilded in 18ct yellow gold and the band has a subtle twist that curves gently toward the insect at the front.
