Description
This glorious vintage pendant is built around an enormous oval cut blue topaz encircled by two rows of twinkling white zircons. The centre stone weighs an impressive 47 carats (approx.) and has a vivid blue hue and expertly cut facets that glisten beautifully in the light.
Topaz is the birthstone of November. The blue variety is said to bring clarity, wisdom and serenity and is desired for its calming glacier-blue hues which range from light to dark, rivalling similar precious gemstones such as aquamarines and sapphires.
The stones are set in a fabulous, open-work basket setting, fashioned in sterling silver and overlayed in platinum. Its a glamorous piece and would look perfect displayed on the end of a silver chain.
