This vintage blue zircon solitaire ring is a fabulous 1960s solitaire ring crowned with a gorgeous, brilliant cut blue zircon weighing approx. 1.2ct. It has a lovely teal-blue hue and is mounted in a white gold claw mount with scrolled, milgrain shoulders that join a 9ct yellow gold band at the back.
Blue Zircons are desired for their exceptional fire and sparkle, which has earned them the nickname Starlite. They exhibit beautiful sea-green and teal-blue hues and are believed to bringprosperity and wisdom to the wearer.
This vintage blue zircon solitaire ring would make a unique engagement ring and is complete with the makers mark of Charles Lyster & Son and Birmingham hallmarks dating to 1962.
