A sweet pair of vintage stud earrings built around two striking deep green emeralds (0.66ct each), haloed by twinkling brilliant cut diamonds with excellent SI1 clarity H colour (0.84ct total).
Emerald is the birthstone of May. The Romans considered it to be the sacred stone of the goddess Venus and said to preserve love and provide hope. Its natural green colouring also makes it a stone of springtime and is associated with eternal love and faithfulness.
The galleries are fashioned in 18ct white gold and fitted with butterfly stud backs complete with London hallmarks, the makers mark and the stone weights.
