Description
A fierce vintage fox brooch made by Alabaster & Wilson in the early 20th Century. Its fashioned in solid 9ct gold with detailed fur texturing, snarling expression, white gold fangs and pink ruby eyes.
Alabaster & Wilson Ltd was founded by Arthur Alabaster and Thomas Wilson in 1887 and wereone of the longest running Birmingham based jewellers, celebrating over a hundred years in business. They were celebrated for their quality fine jewellery and have created pieces for the Royal Family and were a leading supplier in the horse racing world.
Its a great collectors piece and held securely by a gold pin and locking clasp at the back with the makers mark underneath.
