Description
An enormous costume butterfly brooch from the late 20th Century fashioned in white metal with large, open-work wings decorated with a dazzling array of glittering glass pastes in various cuts, sizes and colours. The body is made up of one large round paste and one pear cut paste that are expertly cut to mimic the clarity and sparkle of large diamonds.
It’s an extravagant statement piece, displaying beautiful workmanship and is fitted with a strong pin and safety catch to hold it securely when worn.
