A sublime vintage cocktail ring boasting a glorious natural cushion cut peridot with a particularly vibrant, lime-green hue. It weighs approx. 16.5 carats and is complemented by bands of twinkling brilliant cut diamonds that chase down each shoulder and across the sides of the gallery (approx. 0.70ct total).
Peridots are considered a stone of springtime and were named the gem of the sun by the ancient Egyptians. Its natural lime-green colouring and inner light evoke the beauty of a sunny spring day and bring feelings of joy and serenity to all around it.
The gallery is all 18ct gold with Birmingham hallmarks within the band and a robust claw mount for the peridot, crowning it high and proud atop the finger. It would make a spectacular engagement ring and the peridot is simply breath-taking to behold.
