A lavish vintage rope chain necklace made up of engraved 9ct yellow gold rings tightly interwoven into one thick, twisted strand. Its silky and smooth and articulates fluidly with a fine 9ct white gold box chain also twirling around the length.
Its a beautiful design, expertly made and is held by a secure box clasp complete with a safety catch and marks on the back that indicate it was made by Italian jeweller Unoaerre and assayed in London in 1979.
